envtrap run

The primary execution command. Spawns and monitors your application as a supervised child process.

Arguments


Command Flags

-e, --env-file <path>

  • Default: ".env"
  • Description: Path to a custom .env file to load secrets from (in addition to the active shell process.env).

-v, --verbose

  • Default: false
  • Description: Enables verbose debug logging for the MITM TLS proxy server, certificate minting, and runtime hooks.

--no-mitm

  • Description: Disables the in-memory MITM TLS proxy server entirely. Useful for tasks that do not make outbound network requests or when maximum startup speed is needed.

--quiet

  • Default: false
  • Description: Suppresses the startup banner and real-time per-leak terminal alerts. Grouped summaries and .envtrap-report.json are still produced.

--log-file <path>

  • Default: null
  • Description: Appends structured JSONL events in real time to the specified file path.
